The ERGO Lebensversicherung AG is the largest life insurer and the ERGO Versicherung AG is the largest property-casualty insurers in the ERGO Insurance Group. The group offers a great variety of products for prevention and wealth as well as for property and casualty insurance since June 2010 under its own name in Germany. ERGO has gained over a century of experience in the fields of risk hedging and financial precautions as well as loss hedging through the most active market brands Hamburg-Mannheimer and Victoria.

The ERGO Lebensversicherung AG was formerly Hamburg-Mannheimer Versicherungs-AG, the ERGO Versicherung AG continues the business of the three property insurers of Victoria, Hamburg-Mannheimer and D.A.S.

After CASPARDO has been successfully developing, implementing and operating the On-Site-Search for the Hamburg-Mannheimer Versicherungs-AG for more than three years, CASPARDO On-Site-Search should not be missing in the restructuring of the new ergo.de.

Therefore, the new online presence of ergo.de ought to be provided with a strong On-Site-Search, so that visitors can quickly find the information desired.

Solution

The CASPARDO team together with the responsible staff of the ERGO Versicherungsgruppe AG coordinated the CASPARDO search engine implementation and therewith attended to the following tasks:

• Planning and design of the On-Site Search
• Customizing the On-Site-Search for specific requirements
• Integration of On-Site-Search in ergo.de
• Search engine layout development in the corporate design
